UGC CARE Approved: The Basis Behind It
Yes — JMVRA meets UGC’s current test for journals
UGC has discontinued the UGC and UGC-CARE journal listing. Universities now judge a journal against UGC’s Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals, and JMVRA is aligned with those parameters. Because no list exists any more, JMVRA carries no UGC list number.
JMVRA is a Transparent, Peer-Reviewed, Open Access Journal (Refereed Journal). Following the discontinuation of the UGC and UGC-CARE journal listing, and in alignment with the latest UGC-CARE recommendations and guidelines, JMVRA is aligned with UGC’s Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals.

How much does it cost to publish in JMVRA?
Indian authors pay ₹971 INR and international authors pay $41 USD, only after the paper is accepted. Submission and review are free, and a Crossref DOI is an optional add-on at ₹500 or $20 USD.
Does a low fee mean a lighter review?
No. Every manuscript is screened by the editor, checked for similarity (below 15% is expected) and reviewed double-blind by subject specialists before any decision is made.
How will I hear about the decision?
Decisions are sent by email and WhatsApp. You can also follow your paper's progress at any time with its paper ID on the Track Your Paper page.
Which subjects can I submit?
JMVRA is multidisciplinary: science, engineering, technology, management, commerce, humanities, social sciences, education, health and law are all welcome, including interdisciplinary work.
What is JMVRA's impact factor?
JMVRA states an impact factor of 11.25, calculated from Google Scholar citation data. It is not a Clarivate Journal Impact Factor, so read it alongside the journal's other evidence.
